Daniel leads Advokatfirmaet Kyrre's practice in the area of financial law. He focuses in particular on regulatory issues for companies supervised by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway, as well as private law matters related to the financial sector.
Daniel assists a wide range of clients—from growing fintech companies to major Norwegian and international financial institutions—with interpreting and implementing relevant regulations, including work on license applications and ongoing legal advice.
His advisory services include licensing processes, ongoing compliance and governance, as well as guidance on regulatory requirements related to payment services, e-money, crowdfunding, lending, securities services, crypto-assets, and digital platforms. He also assists with contracts and product documentation, the development of control frameworks, and the handling of supervisory matters.
