Marita has extensive and wide-ranging litigation experience in the District Court and the Court of Appeal. She has particular expertise in tort and insurance law, including liability cases and compensation settlements in personal injury cases relating to motor vehicle liability, occupational injuries, medical malpractice and compensation for victims of violence.
In the field of employment law, she assists employers and employees with matters such as restructuring and redundancies, employment protection cases, and the establishment or amendment of employment contracts. She also provides assistance with estate settlements and probate matters, including the administration of estates.
Marita assists corporate clients and private individuals in the aforementioned specialist and legal areas by providing expert advice, conducting negotiations and handling out-of-court dispute resolution, as well as representing clients in court proceedings.
